What can I expect to be doing as a farm/field volunteer at the farm?
-Planting
-Harvesting
-Weeding
-Special Projects (self identified skillsets, i.e. carpentry, welding, etc)

Are there volunteer opportunities that do not involve farming or physical labor?
-Special events: committee work, set-up, parking help, clean-up, etc.
-Cook lunch or goodies for the farm crew (e-mail us to inform us)
-Photography during volunteer days, events, daily work
-Fundraising
-Social media/website experience

Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds have the opprtunity to learn and gain hands-on organic farming, organizational and a natural world experience. All are welcome to volunteer; including groups, student clubs, businesses and individuals.
(Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.)

We can always use extra hands in the fields and children's garden. Open volunteer times on Tuesday and Friday:
9 am - 11 am
AND
3 pm - 5 pm

Join us at the farm during the week at the Children's Garden and lend a hand with weeding and maintaining our garden space - Come for an hour, 2 hours, or a 1/2 day. All skill levels are welcome.  Your time is appreciated by us and the many families that enjoy the sanctity of our garden space. Participate in growing and nurturing food and flowers for your community. Many hands make light work! Thank you!

If you are interested in volunteering on a more frequent basis at the farm, give us a call 570-992-5731 or e-mail us at cvcsa@ptd.net to find out our weekly schedule, volunteer benefits and how you can help.
