May 17th - Wild Edible Walk with Steven Hoog, 10 am to 2 pm.  You will identify a wide range of usable, edible plants on the property. Among the plants to discover are dandelion, elecampane, sassafras, milkweed, Japanese knotweed, mulberry, pokeweed, chickweed and more...  Together you will explore a variety of characteristics of each one including:  the nutrient properties; the energetic properties based on oriental and macrobiotic medicine; what the plants tell us about the soil; and what part a plant plays in an ecosystem or a wild garden.  Recipes for some of these edible foods will be provided and numerous beverages will be available for tasting.  This class will be topped off with a healthy vegetarian lunch with wild foods in each dish. Stephen is a macrobiotic counselor and cook.  He performs and has taught classes in Shiatsu, Cranio Sacral and Lymphatic Drainage as well as Wild Food Walks in numerous locations.

Price for this workshop is $45.  Pay now online to reserve your spot.  RSVP by Thursday May 10 to reserve your spot.
